With the pandemic affecting their wedding plans for the past couple of years, Morena and Sander managed to keep the wedding date the same as her grandparents who celebrated their 63rd (!!) anniversary that day. On a bright and sunny day in Curacao, Morena & Sander tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony followed by a night filled with heartwarming speeches, great music and so much laughter, making memories to last a lifetime. All of which surrounded by friends and family, most who had flown from The Netherlands for this wedding.

Later that afternoon, we roamed the area for the photo shoot during which the beautiful couple enjoyed a few private moments together. Morena and Sander live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, but opted for a destination wedding in Curacao as the family has strong connections to the island. With it being such a small island, it turned out we have known their family for over 8 years!

We have been on this journey with Morena & Sander since 2019, when we met with them in Amsterdam. Meeting them again after two years and documenting their wedding day with amazing friends and family was such a gift. After all the re-scheduling and meeting in person, it felt like hanging with friends while we were honored to capture all the moments and details that made this celebration unforgettable.

Morena chose the most gorgeous and sophisticated Alexandra Grecca gown for the ceremony, with intricate hand-embroidery that made the design so timeless.

After the ceremony we used the couple of minutes of daylight we had left for some gorgeous photos of the couple, they got to share some beautiful moments together.
