Right before she walked down the aisle, he closed his eyes. Only for a couple of seconds. They had been dreaming of this day for over 2 years. Planning, traveling, looking at possible locations for their ceremony…All the pieces had fallen into place, perfectly. The people that are most important to both Karen & Tavoris, were there to see her descent the steps of the Alexander Homestead.

In a beautiful ceremony performed by their pastor, Karen & Tavoris promised to stay true, they promised eternity and sealed that commitment with a kiss. Well, a couple of kisses. The rest of the evening was mostly spent dancing, not only by the couple, their friends, or the amazing mother of the groom, who had by far the most impressive mother/son dance ever, but also the African Dance group which Karen is part of.

Karen & Tav, thank you, for having us document your first day as husband and wife, for being friends, inviting us to your beautiful home. We cherished every moment spent with both you and your lovely family & friends. You made our first Charlotte experience amazing, we look forward to coming back soon, even if it’s only to meet up with you two. And your dog. And bird. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for such an amazing couple.
