Geneviève + Joris – Moomba Beach wedding

She dreamt of dancing up the aisle as she saw her soon-to-be husband for the first time, and so she did. Geneviève and her father danced with their feet in the sand of Moomba beach, to ‘Someone loves you Honey’ of the great June Lodge and it made the best and most tropical entrance to a ceremony ever.

After a bit of a stressful year, having to move their destination wedding from Sint Maarten to Curacao due to hurricane Irma that hit Sint Maarten in 2017, and lots of home improvement to the house they had just bought, everybody arrived in Curacao to finally celebrate love.

With the help of their bridesmaids and groomsmen plus assistants, they enjoyed the time getting ready and their photo session in Pietermaai, with it’s colourful buildings. After the ceremony there were beautiful speeches with lots of laughter in the light of the setting sun. That night Joris danced with his bride on the beach, the start of their happy ever after.
