What’s getting more and more popular in Curacao, Aruba and Sint Maarten are vow renewals. A vow renewal is a ceremony in which a married couple renew their wedding vows. This renewal can have a slightly different meaning for every other couple. Some couples participate out of tradition to demonstrate that the vows they took are still considered sacred; the ceremonies have been popular in Italy for many decades.

Barbara & Leonardo renewed their vows at Hilton Hotel in Curacao, on November 15th, because they simply wanted to reaffirm their love for each other. They got married only two years ago in Brazil, where they live.
